Usually, the need to carry a tent on Manaslu trek is justified by the absence of guest-house in Darmasala, the last point of spending the night before the pass Larke La. Sleeping bag and mat is necessary, especially if you like a comfort at night, combined with a habit to sleep on clean.Now Darmasala have a guest house, it launched in October 2010.

satellite phone available, no electricity) – alternative route to the Tsum Valley
Day07. Trek to Chumling (only one guest house, overnight in tent, satellite phone and

Day08. Trek to Chhekamparo (chek-post, there no guest houses, shop, satellite phone in
the shop, electricity available also, overnight in tent)
Day09. Trek to Mu Gumba (Monks at monastery and living in poor living conditions;
available guest rooms at the monastery, overnight in Tent)
Day10. Trek to Chhokung (Overnight in tent}
Day11. Trek to Lakuwa ((Lokpa), simple lodge, small shop, satellite phone, overnight in
tent, back to Manaslu trail
Day12. Trek to Ghap ((Prok), very simple guest house with camping place,no

Day13. Trek to Lho-gaon (Lho), only one very simple guest house with camping place,
no electricity, satellite phone available)
Day14. Trek to Samogaon (large village, 6-7 guest houses, couple
ofshops,severalchecpost, electricity, acclimatization to Punggen Gumba
(actually, there no gompa), and Manaslu Base Camp (actually, MBC settled
at4950m,satelite Phone available, overnight in Tent)
Day15. Trek to Samdo (couple of guest house} possibility of acclimatize diversion to
the Tibet border direction, step by step by yak’s caravans route)
Day16. Excursion {acclimatization day}
Day17. Trek to Dharmasala ((Larke Phedi), new one guest house, kitchen and
comfortable dining room, tasty and expensive food (close to Moscow’s prices),
stunning views, mountain stream, nervousness about tomorrow – all these you
get in as sortiment)
Day18. Trek to Larke Bhanjyang pass (5106) – Bimtang (two very simple dirty guest
houses, kitchen and the opportunity to get something to eat, after 4 hours of
hard ascent to the pass and 4 hours of the same descent – long and
beautifull day)
Day19. Trek to Thilche (guest house in very end of the village, telephone service,
overnight in tent)
Day20. Trek to Dharapani (this village at the Annapurna Circuit, all development stuff
are available).
Day21. Trek to Syange, on the way down beautiful Tal valley as nice as water fall at
Syange
Day22. Bhulbule, will be a nice and an enjoyable day
Day23. Beshishahar {this day, if you have managed a private vehicle to Kathmandu,
you can Drive same day to Kathmandu.
